Xiaomi unveils its latest addition to the Redmi K70 lineup, introducing the Redmi K70E alongside the K70 and K70 Pro. Positioned as the more affordable option, the K70E packs significant features at an enticing price point of CNY 2,000, offering competitive specs for its range.

Distinguishing itself from its siblings, the K70E operates on the Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset, a powerful 4nm processor integrating Cortex-A715 and A510 cores with support for LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0. This device maximizes the chipset’s potential with variants offering 12GB or 16GB RAM, coupled with ample storage options ranging from 256GB to an impressive 1TB. To manage thermal efficiency, Xiaomi employs a 5,000mm² stainless steel vapor chamber for enhanced cooling.

While maintaining a 6.67” display size, the K70E opts for a slightly lower resolution at 1,220 x 2,712px. Nevertheless, it compensates with a top-tier panel featuring calibrated 12-bit colors (deltaE = 0.43), Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. The display boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and high-frequency PWM dimming at 1,920Hz, achieving a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.

In terms of battery, the K70E surpasses its counterparts with a 10% larger capacity at 5,500mAh. Although its maximum charge rate is slightly reduced at 90W compared to 120W, it still accomplishes a full charge in just 34 minutes, thanks to the Xiaomi P2 custom chip managing the fast charging capabilities and the G1 optimizing battery life. The camera setup, reflective of the device’s affordability, features a 64MP primary sensor (1/2″) equipped with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP 120° ultra-wide camera and a macro lens. Capable of recording 4K video at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps, the primary camera delivers decent performance. The device also houses a 16MP front-facing camera, supporting 1080p at 60fps video capture.

Available in three color variants, the Redmi K70E offers memory configurations of 12GB/256GB for CNY 2,000, 12GB/512GB for CNY 2,200, and an expansive 16GB/1TB version for CNY 2,600.

Additionally, although not officially confirmed by Xiaomi, speculations suggest that this model might emerge globally as the Poco X6 Pro. (Redmi K70E)
