OPPO Find X7 series has been a subject of speculation and leaks for quite some time, but today, official confirmation has finally arrived. OPPO announced that the new Find X7 series will be unveiled on January 8 at 2:30 PM (Chinese Timing). The official poster showcases both devices, revealing their appearance, albeit with no apparent significant differences at first glance.
Both versions of the devices boast a curved OLED display with a single punch-hole design, expected to measure around 6.78 inches for the standard version and 6.82 inches for the Ultra variant, according to insider information. The camera setup on both models seems similar, with the Ultra variant featuring a higher number of cameras.
The standard Find X7 exhibits a circular layout housing three camera modules, including a single periscopic lens. These lenses will reportedly cover a focal length of 16-70mm, as indicated. Additionally, this model is equipped with two LED flashes – one positioned within the circular array and another at the top-left corner.
In contrast, the Find X7 Ultra stands out as the world’s first phone to showcase a dual periscopic lens system. Alongside the existing lenses, this model includes an extra periscopic lens, extending the zoom range from 14mm to 135mm. Interestingly, the Ultra variant will feature only a single LED flash, positioned at the top-left corner.
Regarding the chipset, rumors suggest that the OPPO Find X7 will run on Mediatek’s latest Dimensity 9300 chipset, while the Find X7 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen3. Both models are also speculated to house a 5000mAh battery and support 100W fast charging.
As the launch date approaches, OPPO is anticipated to unveil further details and specifications about its Find X7 series in the coming days.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that the Honor X50 GT has been officially confirmed for release on January 4th, adding to the excitement in the smartphone market.
