Samsung is updating the Galaxy S24 camera.

Galaxy S24

Several users of the Samsung Galaxy S24 have reported subpar camera performance, citing issues such as blurry textures and details. A representative from Samsung acknowledged these concerns and confirmed that a firmware update is currently in development to address the reported camera-related issues. The problem was highlighted on Samsung South Korea’s official forum, where users shared their experiences with the S24’s camera quality.

In response to one specific report on the forum, a moderator verified that the camera-related problems would be resolved through a forthcoming update. Additionally, the moderator noted that the new S24 series exhibits a more natural color reproduction in comparison to previous S-series devices. However, it was emphasized that aside from the improved color reproduction, there were no other significant changes made to the cameras.

Interestingly, our review unit of the Galaxy S24 and S24+ did not manifest these reported camera-related bugs. During our evaluation, we observed a more restrained processing approach, resulting in a natural color rendition. Some instances of additional grain in certain shots were also noted.
