The excitement is growing for the upcoming iPhone 16 series. Although the launch is still a while away, Mac Rumors has shared render images based on prototypes of the Apple iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, codenamed Diablo and Lightning. While these devices may seem familiar initially, subtle changes are in the works.

Key modifications include a larger screen and the addition of a capacitive Capture button on the right side, positioned below the power button. The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to feature a 6.27-inch screen with dimensions of 149.6 x 71.45 x 8.25mm and a weight of 194 grams. On the other hand, the larger iPhone 16 Pro Max may boast a 6.85-inch screen with dimensions of 163 x 77.58 x 8.25mm and a weight of 225 grams.

The new Capture button, equipped with a force feedback sensor, is seamlessly integrated into the phone’s frame and could serve as a handy shortcut for the camera app. However, this addition leads to the relocation of the US-exclusive mm Wave antenna to the left side, adapting to the evolving design.

As the Apple iPhone 16 Pro series prepares for a September debut, these renders offer an early peek into the subtle yet impactful changes shaping Apple’s next-gen devices. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the unveiling.
