OPPO Find X7

Oppo’s long-awaited Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra flagship models have finally made their appearance on the company’s official online store in China. Customers can now reserve these handsets, which are set to go on sale starting January 8 at 2:30 pm local time.

Detailed specifications are yet to be disclosed, but the listings showcase an array of renders, providing a comprehensive view of the devices from various angles and color variations. The Find X7 will be offered in four RAM/storage configurations: 12/256GB, 16/256GB, 16/512GB, and an impressive 16GB/1TB.

Color choices for the Find X7 include Smoky Purple, Starry Sky Black, The Sea and the Sky, and Desert Silver Moon. Notably, the latter two options sport a unique finish on the back, combining faux leather and glass, while the former two are entirely glass-built.

On the other hand, the Find X7 Ultra will be available in three RAM/storage variants: 12/256GB, 16/256GB, and 16/512GB. Interestingly, unlike the standard model, the Ultra won’t feature a 1TB version. It will be offered in three colors: The Sea and the Sky, Desert Silver Moon, and Pine Shadow, with the latter being an exclusive finish for the Ultra, incorporating faux leather and glass in dark gray and black with added faux stitching.

Both models will feature a OnePlus-inspired alert slider and curved-edge screens with a centered hole-punch design for the selfie camera. The primary differentiator between the two lies in their rear camera setups.

Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra boasts the distinction of being the first smartphone to house not just one but two periscope zoom cameras, complemented by a wide and an ultrawide lens, providing coverage from 14mm to 135mm, as indicated within the sizable camera module.

Conversely, the Find X7 will sport three rear cameras, including a single periscope, covering a range of 16mm to 70mm, as noted near the lenses. While the camera layout remains similar, the Find X7 positions its LED flash array within the camera island, while the Ultra’s flash resides outside the island, in the top left corner.

According to prior leaks, the Find X7 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch screen with a resolution of 1,264×2,780, while the Ultra will boast a slightly larger 6.82-inch display with 1,440×3,168 resolution. Both phones will share a 5,000 mAh battery capacity supporting 100W wired charging, with the Ultra additionally offering 50W wireless charging. Additionally, Oppo hinted at satellite connectivity via BeiDou, akin to the Huawei Mate 60.

The Find X7 Ultra is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Find X7 might opt for MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300. However, there’s uncertainty regarding their availability or announcements for global markets.
