Last week, reports surfaced suggesting that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra would introduce innovative features like NightographyZoom. Just a few days ago, additional details emerged, indicating that the smartphone will support impressive capabilities such as 4K video recording at 120 frames per second and seamless zoom capabilities while filming at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. Recent information from a reputable source, Ice Universe, now suggests that the S24 Ultra’s camera prowess might surpass that of its predecessor, the S23 Ultra, particularly in capturing images at a 10x zoom.

Ice Universe, known for reliable tech leaks, claims to have had access to camera samples from the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Allegedly, these samples demonstrate superior imaging capabilities compared to those of the S23 Ultra.

Rumors surrounding the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera setup suggest it will boast four rear cameras: a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens (with 3x optical zoom), and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens (offering 5x optical zoom). It’s highly probable that the camera samples witnessed by Ice Universe were taken using the 50-megapixel periscope unit.

With the official unveiling just around the corner, approximately two weeks away, it’s likely that further details about the S24 Ultra’s cutting-edge camera features will surface in the lead-up to Samsung’s Unpacked 2024 event scheduled for January 17. Meanwhile, individuals interested in pre-ordering any of the S24 smartphones can do so via this platform and receive a $50 credit.
