Samsung Galaxy S24+ is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in many countries

In 2023, Samsung took a different approach, using only Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips for the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra worldwide, departing from its usual split between Exynos and Qualcomm. However, rumors now suggest a change for the upcoming S24 series.

Reports indicate the S24 Ultra will stick with Snapdragon, while the S24+ might use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in most countries. Only the standard S24 is expected to rely on the Exynos 2400.

However, these rumors conflict with earlier reports suggesting both S24 models would use the Exynos 2400 in some markets. It’s a last-minute twist just days before the official unveiling, so take this with caution.

While many might prefer the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it’s wise to await confirmation from trusted sources. Stay tuned for updates as the situation unfolds.
