Honor introduced the X50 series during the summer of 2023, having already unveiled three official variants. Now, the family is set to welcome a fourth member as Honor announced the upcoming launch of the X50 GT on January 4.

While bearing a resemblance to the Honor X50, this smartphone will distinguish itself with an elegant white color complemented by a yellow racing stripe and a classic black finish.

Honor X50 GT showcases a prominent 108 MP 1/1.67” sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, clearly indicated on the back of the white version. This sensor is likely to be the widely used Samsung HM6 sensor, featured in various midrange devices such as the standard Honor X50 and the Honor Magic6 Lite/X9b.

Harrison Zhang, the CMO of Honor, highlighted the X50 GT’s focus on the “extreme pursuit of performance.” Expectations include enhanced heat dissipation, a more responsive screen, and other enhancements rarely seen in the midrange X series.

The official event is slated for 19:30 local time. Anticipation is high for Honor to divulge more details about the X50 GT in the seven days leading up to the launch.
