The specific unit of the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G that received NBTC certification carries the model code SM-A556E/DS, with “DS” indicating dual-SIM support. Although the Thai certifying authority did not disclose further details about the smartphone, the same model also obtained FCC certification, confirming its support for 25W charging.
Additionally, there is another version identified by the model designation SM-A556B, which appeared on Geekbench featuring the Exynos 1480 SoC and 8GB RAM. Furthermore, leaked official renders of the Samsung Galaxy A55 have surfaced, showcasing the smartphone in colors such as Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy.
