The Vivo V30 has been officially launched in Indonesia, joining the premium Vivo V30 Pro. This new release shares similarities with the Chinese-market Vivo S18 but comes with notable changes in the camera setup.

Unlike the V30 Pro, the V30 doesn’t feature Zeiss optics and instead opts for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, departing from the MediaTek chipset found in its counterpart. However, most other specifications remain unchanged.

With a 6.78-inch AMOLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, the Vivo V30 offers a smooth experience with a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. The display reaches peak local brightness of 2800 nits and global brightness of 1200 nits, utilizing 2160Hz PWM dimming technology.

For security, the V30 includes an in-display fingerprint sensor. Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, the device operates on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14.

Photography enthusiasts will enjoy the dual 50MP rear camera setup with an OIS-assisted primary sensor and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Additionally, the device features a 50MP front camera with autofocus for high-quality selfies.

Connectivity options are comprehensive, including dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, and NFC. A robust 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging capability ensures lasting power. The Vivo V30 is available in two memory configurations, priced at around $380 (~PKR 106,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model and approximately $445 (~PKR 124,000) for the 12GB + 512GB variant.
