Xiaomi Redmi 13C: Indian Launch with MediaTek Helio G99 Chip

Xiaomi’s Redmi 13C, which recently launched in global markets, is yet to make its debut in India. Reports from 91mobiles suggest that the Indian version of this budget phone will have slight variations compared to its global counterpart.

Insiders familiar with the matter reveal that the Redmi 13C in India will feature a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset instead of the Helio G85 found in the global edition. The Helio G99, being a newer chip built on an updated manufacturing process, offers increased clock speeds.

Aside from this change, Xiaomi doesn’t plan to alter any other specifications for the Indian variant. The device will retain its 6.74-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a rear camera setup of 50MP + 2MP, accompanied by an 8MP front-facing camera. The battery capacity remains at 5,000 mAh, supporting 18W fast charging.

Details about memory variants and available colors for the Indian version aren’t currently available from these sources. However, an official announcement is slated for next month, providing clarity on these aspects. (Xiaomi Redmi 13C)
